The Australasian College of Paramedicine Four-Day CPD Symposium
Due to the popularity of the Live Interactive Symposium in November among re-registering paramedics in Australia, we are happy to announce another symposium to help with re-registration in New Zealand/Aotearoa.
It will be held over four days (24, 25, 26, and 27 March 2025, times vary) and will provide attendees with eight hours of interactive CPD. Each day will see two subject matter experts present on an array of different clinical topics. There will also be an opportunity for questions with each speaker.
The Day One session will include:
"Framing reality: An exploration of perception" presented by Hannah Latta
Managing birth complications out of hospital presented by Professor Belinda Flanagan
The Day Two session will include:
Spinal cord injuries by Dr Andy Swain
Palliative care presented by Fraser Watson
The Day Three session will include:
Diving emergencies by Philip Gadd
Case-based learning session presented by Dan O'Brien and Jeremy Kuiper
The Day Four session will include:
"How lack of sleep influences both you and your patients" by Dr Alexander Wolkow & Laura Hirello
"Human Factors in Optimising High Performance Medical Teams" by Andy Bell
This event is open to everyone across Australasia. Register now!
